Support Assistant, Outreach – SA/OR/04/17

Hours:                       Part Time (20 hours per week), Permanent

Salary:                       £15,375 - £16,781 per annum (pro rata)

Based:                       Woodside Road, Ballymena

 In addition, we wish to compile a waiting list for similar vacancies which may arise in the next 12 months

 Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of one year’s experience providing a housing support service
• A willingness to undertake RQF (QCF) Health & Social Care Level II on appointment
• Have an interest in the Housing Sector
• Must register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) prior to commencement of employment (if not already registered)
• Clean current driving licence and access to a car with business insurance OR can demonstrate mobility to carry out the functions of the job.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience of providing care/support to individuals with learning disabilities/complex needs

 Due to the nature of these roles, the successful candidates will be subject to Enhanced Access Northern Ireland (ANI) checks
