Social Network Facilitator

The Social Network Facilitator will be responsible for the facilitation and action research of social networks for disabled people in the Dundalk area.

Contract:            Fixed to September 2013

Hours:                 20 hours per week

Salary:                3 point incremental scale commencing on £20,198 per annum pro rata

Location:            Dundalk

Essential:            NVQ level IV/Degree or Professional Qualification

AND

Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the direct provision of education, training or support

OR

NVQ level 3 or equivalent

AND

Minimum of 3 years’ experience

Personal experience of disability

Experience of using standard office IT applications such as Word, Excel, the internet and e-mail

Have a strong personal commitment to the social model of disability

Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and Ireland and have access to a car on appointment.*

*This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable applicant who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full

Desirable:           Qualification in Health & Social Care, Social Sciences
