•To carry out all aspects of maintenance work across a wide range of general work in both domestic & commercial properties. •To undertake other general works as directed ensuring a high standard of upkeep a and safety of client property.

Key responsibilities
  • The postholder will be involved with all aspects of maintenance work that does not require the attention of a  specialist contractor

  • To complete any other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor such as: minor roofing repairs, lighting unit replacements, glazing repairs, slab and path repairs, minor plumbing repairs, repairing and replacing joinery (including preparation and painting where appropriate)

  • To assist the wider maintenance team to carry out a variety of maintenance based projects eg room reconfigurations

  • To report any health and safety hazards, defects or damage discovered during the normal course of the postholder’s work

  • The safe keeping and maintenance of company tools and equipment issued to them

  • To assist client company staff to move furniture/equipment as and when necessary

  • To keep records of work carried out as required using appropriate log books

  • To ensure a suitable level of quality and workmanship is maintained at all times
