Senior Youth Worker

The senior youth worker will have a pivotal role in delivering developmental programmes, mentoring and promoting positive mental health of young people; both in centre and school (primary and secondary) environments.

The position is initially for three years, subject to a six-month probationary period.
To coordinate and deliver the curent youth work associated with MVI, both drop-in and outreach.
Develop additional initiatives for young people, including non term-time and educational interventions.
Work towards adding staff and volunteers to the organisation.
Maintain effective working relationship with staff, volunteers, local schools, churches and other key delivery partners.
Within the working week evenings and occasional weekends may be considered normal.
