Position: Relief Ambulance Support Drivers/Escorts
Location: Belfast, Derry/Londonderry
Hours: Various

Salary: £7.55 per hour

Red Cross is expanding Ambulance Support services across Northern Ireland and creating new job opportunities to join our enthusiastic and highly committed team. We are primarily looking for people who are committed to providing high quality care which respects and protects the dignity of patients, full training will be provided.

You will have good standard of literacy skills and a caring and humanitarian nature consistent with the needs of vulnerable people.  It is essential that you hold a full Driving licence and are aged 21 years or over. You will have a reasonable level of physical fitness required so that the driver/escort can assist patients with mobility problems, push wheelchairs up ramps and use moving and handling equipment including (as part of a team) a carry chair to carry/move patients. Shift patterns including weekend work will be essential to this post. This role requires an ACCESS NI check.
