Their mission is to enhance emotional wellbeing in individuals, couples, families and communities by delivering professional counselling and therapeutic services. The charity currently provides counselling services to close to 3000 individuals annually, and Relate NI would like to build and improve on this impressive statistic by recruiting a new Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the ongoing growth, transformation and evolution of the charity.
The Role:
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible to the Board for providing leadership and contribution to the strategic and operational management of the organisation in order to achieve agreed aims and objectives.
Main Tasks:
Lead the implementation of the business plan, working with the Board to develop objectives, performance targets and budgets.
Ensure that staffing levels are right sized to achieve maximum efficiency/income generation commensurate with the provision of appropriate levels of service to clients.
Develop Relate NI’s reputation, profile and income streams by providing high quality and accessible services that are responsive, effective and timely.
Seek out and develop new business and partnership opportunities for Relate NI across the public, private and charitable sectors.
Champion Relate NI through collaboration with Department of Health, Trusts and other relevant agencies.
The Person:
A proven track record in management at senior level, minimum 10 years, with at least 3 years operating at director, senior management and/or Board level.
Experience of working with government bodies and charitable trusts.
- Evidence of delivering a comprehensive business transformation project, with an emphasis on achieving significantly enhanced results.
