Independent Assessor provide independent scrutiny as part of the process of appointing to Boards of public bodies; help Ministers and their Departments make public appointments that are open, transparent, based on merit and command public confidence

If your answers to these questions are yes you may be interested in applying to join the team of independent assessors who sit on selection panels for public appointments. Apart from a deep commitment to high standards in public life we are looking for people with an independent mindset, good communication skills and the ability to work constructively with others as part of a team. No academic qualifications are required for the post. Appointment will be made on merit from those individuals who best satisfy the criteria.
