The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery and development of this pilot project. You will ensure all newly referred individuals receive high quality, person centred support as well as liaising with partner agencies.

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Responsible to: Board of Trustees, Programs Manager

Period: 1st October 2017 – 30th September 2018

Hours: 37 hours per week, incl.  occasional weekend and evening work.

Salary: £24,000 + pension

Location: 1-3 Graham Gardens, Lisburn, BT28 1XE

 

The Role

The Project Coordinator will provide and lead a team of volunteers to recruit clients and develop support within the Social Supermarket. You will be responsible for ensuring all newly referred individuals receive high quality, person centred support. You will lead and support practice development within the team and will provide coaching and mentoring to team members. You will assist in the delivery of the organisation's programs and services. This includes directly working with team leaders, and/or providing guidance, support, resources and tools to volunteers. You will be responsible for putting in place personal development plans for clients and ensuring they are followed through. With support from the organization, you will oversee the membership / recruitment to the project and record and keep account of progress and complete regular evaluations. 

Essential criteria includes:-

  • Educated to A Level/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (including English and Maths grades A*-C or eqivalent)
  • Recent relevant experience of working in community  development/client support setting
  • Experience of working with people from disadvantaged groups
  • Evidence of developing external networks to support the achievement of organisational objectives
  • Current full driving licence, valid in the UK
