Todds Leap Education, training and Community Outreach Department offer education and training programmes to groups, schools and individuals. We work collaboratively with youth organisations and government departments.

Youth Community Outreach Worker/Princes Trust Team Leader
Focused on overseeing the development and delivery of high quality and dynamic education and community outreach programmes. With particular focus for;
Developing the schools market by forming a collaborative approach to schools to help contribute to education and learning and creating a suitable package for delivery.
A emphasis on delivery of training to the NEETs sector, including the delivery and management of Princes Trust programmes.
Growing and developing the training sector of the business, incorporating new training programmes and maximising our share of the training market.
Developing and growing our links within the T;BUC programme and working with communities of all community backgrounds.
Creating links with schools and in particular shared education projects to facilitate team bonding days.

Skills and Knowledge:
A strong understanding of the challenges young people our target groups face
Knowledge of local provision for disadvantaged young people
Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with a wide range of external and internal customers
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
The ability to work on own initiative to find creative solutions to problems
A strong awareness and understanding of equal opportunities and the ability to translate these into effective action
A strong awareness and understanding of Community safety at local, regional and national level
Knowledge of Health and Safety practices and processes
Knowledge of relevant, local community networks and provision for young people
Knowledge of the benefits system and how it impacts young people
Knowledge of processes for administration and verification of qualifications/accreditation
Experience:
Experience of managing relationships with external organisations and stakeholders
Experience of working directly with young people including vulnerable persons
Experience of quality management
Experience of using e-mail, internet, word-processing and spreadsheet packages, accurately and with good attention to detail
Provide a mentoring role to junior staff and young persons
The wider developments and issues effecting Community Safety
Identifying individual training needs and organising training programmes
Leading and motivating others in the community.
Experience of working within a target driven environment
Experience of sourcing positive outcomes for disadvantaged young people and gaining evidence for funders
