Playgroup Deputy Leader required (Maternity Cover) starting September 2018

Hours of work: 8.30am – 1.30pm | Monday to Friday (25 hours)

Essential criteria:

• NVQ Level 3 
• Also preferred is Level 5 Childcare or a teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a childcare or teaching position.
• A standard of Irish language is a key part of this role but not essential.

Other requirements:

• Excellent organisational skills/administration systems;
• Professional, hardworking, a team player with a commitment to develop and learn in the role;
• Good communication skills and be open to working with early years authorities, parents and a management committee;
• A Standard of Irish language to suit pre-school level and have a willingness to use this daily;
• Overall a friendly and pleasant manner is important to the success of this position;
• This is great opportunity to learn and develop in a small early-years setting within an established organisation;

Salary starting from £8.50p/h depending on experience and training.
