To provide an enhanced befriending, activity based service including the provision of personal care when required to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their informal care givers with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.

Bryson Care Western Services Enhanced Day Opportunities Service requires;


Personal Daytime Support Workers



Fixed Term –pilot scheme initially up to September 2017

£8 per hour (plus mileage for outings)

Mon – Sun (Various Hours per week)

Days & Evenings



Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 1 years paid experience in a health and social care setting

  • Experience of working with people with dementia

  • Relevant qualification e.g. QCF / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Care, or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Flexible approach to working hours

  • Access to transport that would enable the post holder to carry out the duties of the post


Desirable Criteria

  • GCSE (or equivalent) standard of education
