Crosslinks Project Performing Arts Youth Worker

The Crosslinks Performing Arts Worker will lead the performing arts aspect of the Crosslinks project, specifically the drama workshops and final performances.

The Crosslinks Programme seeks to establish a positive alternative youth environment for minority ethnic young people together with those from Inner East and Outer West Belfast that generates social development and good community relations among participants. The Performing Arts Worker, along with the Crosslinks staff and a leadership team of young volunteers, will also be responsible for the preparation and recruitment of West Belfast young people (aged 14-20) to the Crosslinks programme. 

The Crosslinks Performing Arts worker will lead volunteers in the planning, preparing, organising, and running of the Crosslinks events and activities and in the ongoing informal education and mentoring work of the Project. He or she is also responsible for the drama workshops and final performing arts performances each year.


The post is 20 hours per week - funded through June 2014 

Salary range between £17,500 - £19,500 (pro rata)
