Experience including note taking, report writing, event organisation, database maintenance
Skills in maintaining finance systems and reporting on day to day financial activities
Familiarity with IT systems including databases, Word, Outlook, etc.

Working within a voluntary sector organisation
Experience of women’s organisations
Experience of dissemination of information/correspondence
Use of social media such as twitter and facebook
Maintaining a website

Knowledge of organisational structures and systems including maintaining financial activities

Part Time Office / Finance Administrator
3 months fixed contract
Main Purpose of the Post
Under the overall direction of the Committee and responsible to a line manager, to provide administrative support to the Northern Ireland Women’s European Platform. The part time Office / Finance Administrators role will be:
to provide assistance and administrative support to the Committee including preparing reports, minutes of meetings, setting up meetings and events such as seminars and conferences and arranging travel
to be responsible for updating the website and sharing information on other social media sites such as facebook and twitter
to be responsible for day to day financial recording
- to perform such other duties, appropriate to the role, as may be required by the Committee from time to time.
Essential Experience, Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrable competence in the following Microsoft applications - word processing, spreadsheets, databases, file management, e-mail, the internet, twitter and facebook.
At least three year’s work experience in an Administrative work environment.
Excellent numeracy skills with knowledge and skills in the maintenance of financial records and procedures and reporting on same.
Ability to deal with a range of ongoing tasks at the same time, and to meet deadlines.
Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and to recognise role in a team
Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to explain information clearly to a wide variety of recipients
Relevant Qualifications
Candidates should be educated to NVQ2 level or equivalent (e.g. 5 GCSEs grade A-C)
Working Hours: 26 hour per week
Monday -Tuesday: 9am – 4pm
Wednesday – Friday: 9am – 1pm
Salary: NJC Scale 4 Point 18 £17,333 (pro rata)
