This role will act in support of this festival, providing development, administration, management and reporting support on an ongoing basis through March 31, 2017.
Key Duties
- General administrative duties
- Sourcing funding and completing funding applications
- Maintenance of efficient communication and filing systems
- Ensuring compliance to agreed policies and procedures
- Taking minutes of Committee Meetings
- Following up planning meetings
- Supporting Board members implementation of Festival programme ideas
- Assisting with arranging and facilitating festival events leading up to the festival and on a day to day basis during the festival
- Responsibility for all income and expenditure, including bank donations and ticket sales
- Assist in the collation of data for statutory bodies and other auditors
- Any other tasks which may be required as part of the post
- Have experience of cross-denominational work in sympathy with the Christian faith.
- Have experience of the administration, management and development of an voluntary organisation.
- Have experience of sourcing funding and making successful applications
- Have experience of financial management and auditing.
- Have experience of data collection and returns to financial supporters.
- A Knowledge of the 4 Corners Festival.
- A knowledge of the Christian faith across the denominations.
- A working knowledge of good practice in event delivery.
- Good communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal.
- Collaborative and self-actuating
- A theological, community development, creative arts, business or other relevant qualification.
- Have experience of encouraging income generation.
- Have experience of the administration, management and development of an annual festival.
- A knowledge of community sector across Belfast
- A working knowledge of good practice in festival delivery.
- Knowledge of how a voluntary management board works.
