NCB Project Assistant: Belfast based, 21 hours/week; 12 month fixed term contract; £21,060-£23,701 pro-rata.
Supporting staff working on a range of projects from practice development and participation activity to measuring impact and outcomes.

The National Children’s Bureau (NCB) is a leading research and development charity working to improve the lives of children and young people, reducing the impact of inequalities. We aim to influence government policy, be a strong voice for young people and front-line professionals, and provide practical solutions on a range of issues affecting children, families and communities.

We are looking for a Project Assistant to support the National Children’s Bureau in Northern Ireland.

In this role you will support staff working on a range of interesting projects from practice development and participation activity to measuring impact and outcomes for children and communities.

You will liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, arrange meetings and travel, work on stakeholder communications and provide administrative support.

As well as strong organisational and administration skills you will need experience of up-dating and editing web based materials, managing financial data, developing and maintaining databases and preparing materials for publication.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills are also essential.
