The Millennium Forum is a dynamic Theatre and Conference Centre which has been operational since August 2001. It is managed by Derry Theatre Trust.   Since this time it has attracted capacity audiences as well as international artists and business visitors from across the globe.

Derry Theatre Trust is currently seeking applications for the following post:

Marketing and Digital Media Apprentice 

A motivated and energetic person is required to assist in the overall marketing provision from the Millennium Forum’s marketing department.

Want to gain some experience in marketing?  Want to test this area of work to see if it’s for you?  This is your chance to apply to the Millennium Forum’s Marketing Department for a Marketing and Digital Media Apprenticeship in which full training will be given on key aspects of work.  Join the team who bring in audiences, profile the Millennium Forum in national & international markets, develop links & work with media in NI, ROI & the UK.

Qualifications

Candidates must be qualified as follows:

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)  grades C or above and
  • 2 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent.

This role is an apprenticeship position enabling the post holder to gain a Level 3 Diploma in Live Events and Promotion. The post holder will be required to undertake training during the apprenticeship. Ongoing satisfactory study and work is a fundamental element of this training role.

Hours of work: 21 hours per week.

Some evening and weekend work will be required to fulfil the duties of this position.

Wage:

In line with current employment law, we will pay as follows:

Aged 18-24 : £6.70 per hour

 Time Period:  2 yrs (with possibility of extension).
