The main responsibilities of the The Link Furniture MARC-it Manager are to co-ordinate and administer the social economy furniture sales project. The post will also involve partnership working with the Training and Activities Worker of the MARC Project.
Essential QUALIFCATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant retail experience at supervisory/management level.
- Experience of achieving income targets and working within budgets;
- Experience in furniture retail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative;
- Ability to motivate and delegate;
- No health problems that would adversely affect the ability to carry out duties (some manual handling required).
- Empathise with the ethos and adhere to the policies and procedures of The Link;
- Clean licence including category C1;
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours (including Saturdays).
