The main responsibilities of the The Link Furniture MARC-it Manager are to co-ordinate and administer the social economy furniture sales project. The post will also involve partnership working with the Training and Activities Worker of the MARC Project.

Essential QUALIFCATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Relevant retail experience at supervisory/management level.
  2. Experience of achieving income targets and working within budgets;
  3. Experience in furniture retail.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  5. Excellent organisational skills;
  6. Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative;
  7. Ability to motivate and delegate;
  8. No health problems that would adversely affect the ability to carry out duties (some manual handling required).
  9. Empathise with the ethos and adhere to the policies and procedures of The Link;
  10. Clean licence including category C1;
  11. Must be prepared to work flexible hours (including Saturdays).
