Lisburn (Laurelhill) Daycentre Volunteer

Age NI

Age NI provides care on a daily basis to hundreds of older people in Northern Ireland. Age NI's day centre in Laurelhill (Lisburn) is seeking a committed Volunteer to join them in caring for older people with a diagnosis of Dementia.

Laurelhill House are seeking volunteers who can help on Tuesday's, between 1pm - 5pm; 1pm-3pm in the Day Centre and or 3pm-5pm assisting clients during bus drop off.

At Age NI, we put older people at the heart of everything we do.  Age NI Day Centres can be a lifeline to older people. Some people come for the social aspect and activities. Some come for a break from caring responsibilities at home. Some are dealing with relationship breakdowns or bereavement. They are invaluable, fun places where older people leave their troubles at the door and enjoy each other’s company over a hot meal.
