Role Purpose:

The Leasehold Unit is responsible for the application and collection of Service Charges for approx. 6000 sold NIHE flats. This includes the calculation and collection of costs for improvements to leasehold properties delivered as part of NIHE Programme of works. This unit is also responsible for the policy and procedures in relation to Leaseholders and at the present time there is a review ongoing which will:

  • Evaluate the impact of current charging policy
  • Analyse the impact of proposed policies and procedures
  • Assess the current delivery model and where appropriate develop new procedures and systems of delivery to support this
  • Develop new ways of communicating with Leasehold Customers. You will be responsible for working as part of a busy customer facing team

You will be expected to contribute to the Review Project, assisting with analysis of data and presenting findings to allow for informed decision making. You will work with the team to develop new ways to communicate with service charge customers including developing Web based service information. You will connect with other divisions and business units to continue to develop improved processes with the aim of supporting our customers whilst maintaining income into the organisation
