The Maples is a sheltered/supported living service. The staff team are on-site 24 hours of the day, 7 days a week to deliver the care and support to the tenants using this service. The Maples contains 31 self-contained flats, each having their own bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and storage area. The building includes communal areas, laundry facilities, a meeting room and a common room for socialising. Recently 5 new accessible flats have been renovated to include full wheelchair access. Springfield Court is a supported Living service for 10 adults with disabilities.

The successful candidate is expected to provide support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operation of the services, deputising as directed in their absence and to be responsible for the direct supervision of Team Leaders and care staff on duty. The successful candidate will also take responsibility for monitoring and maintaining professional standards of care available to tenants within the service, working with the tenants and staff to enable individuals to attain their full potential and maximise the options available to them.

Applicants must have the QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care and demonstrate a willingness to obtain QCF Level 5 in Adult Management as well as undertake any training that is required (including updates). It is essential that applicants have the ability to maintain confidentiality and can travel to attend relevant meetings and training which may be held at different locations.
