Salary: NJC Points 24-28 (£21, 706- £24,670 per annum). A range of additional benefits are also available.

Location: Based at our Central Office in Franklin Street, Belfast. Travel to other Simon Community Sites will be required to fulfil the duties associated with this post.

Hours of Work: The primary hours of this post are 9am-5pm (35 hours per week). There may be a requirement to work some evenings and weekends as part of the role. A flexi time system is in operation.

Job Purpose: To provide a cost effective and smooth running ICT service to the Simon Community NI. Working in conjunction with other IT staff, the IT Managed Services provider and other suppliers to ensure that staff and volunteers can be productive in their own roles through the use of ICT whilst ensuring that any problems are promptly resolved.

Along with supporting our existing ICT systems, a significant part of this role will be concerned with the rollout of new or upgraded systems into a new Data Centre during 2017/18. In particular, Client Information, Finance, HR and Fundraising Applications.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

1. Relevant third level IT, business or management qualification plus at least 4 years of IT experience implementing significant IT changes and supporting IT users within a small to medium sized organisation.

OR

Relevant IT certifications plus 10 years of IT experience implementing significant IT changes and supporting IT users within small to medium sized organisations.

2. Experience as a Business Analyst on CRM type systems.

3. Experience of Data Cleansing and Data Migration.

4. Experience of testing SQL database systems.

5. Ability to create reports from SQL database systems.

6. Experience of training and supporting users following deployment of new systems.

7. A full, valid driving license and use of a vehicle is required so as to be able to meet the requirements of the post in full.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

1. An understanding of the voluntary sector and issues affecting people who are homeless or other vulnerable at risk groups. e.g. People with Mental Health issues, People with Offending Histories, People with Addictions or Young People.

2. Experience of migrating and managing applications and data in a cloud environment.

3. A good understanding of PRINCE2 and ITIL principles.
