Invitation to Tender Sessional facilitators and tutors

REACT (Reconciliation, Education And Community Training)

REACT is seeking to recruit reputable, experienced and qualified sessional facilitators and tutors to deliver a variety of youth courses and programmes.

REACT  Youth Project offers mentoring, counselling, social and group support programmes and activities to young people age 10 to 20 years old in the Armagh area.

Programme delivery will include:

  • Personal development programmes which address anger and conflict management, health awareness and making healthy life choices, healthy relationships, recognising stress and relaxation techniques.

  • Craft classes

  • Dance classes

  • Social development and career planning

Programme Requirements

Deliver series of structured one hour sessions/lessons as directed by REACT, support and encourage young people at all times, and manage administration in accordance with requirements pertaining to roles and responsibilities.

Duration of contract

The contract expires on the 30th November 2017 but may be extended dependent on funding.

Pricing

£100 per one hour session to include delivery and preparation.

Travel expenses are paid at 45p per mile (Please note REACT do not pay for travel time)

Price quoted is inclusive of VAT and cannot be subject to increase during the term of the contract.

Format of Tenders

The tender proposal should indicate which programmes or courses you wish to deliver and provide an outline of what these programmes or courses will cover.

A copy of your tender proposal, CV, all relevant qualifications and current Professional Insurance must be submitted.

Provider Requirements /Eligibility

Interested Providers must be able to provide evidence of the following:

  1. Possession of relevant qualification where applicable

  2. Demonstrable experience of facilitating or tutoring programmes and classes in area of expertise

  3. Professional Insurance

  4. Membership of a Professional Organisation or Regulatory Body were relevant

  5. Minimum of 2 years’ experience of facilitating and/or tutoring within a youth setting

Please state clearly which programmes/classes you are applying to deliver and include any other supporting information which is relevant to your application and a detailed list of all programmes and/or classes you provide.

To arrive no later than 3pm on Tuesday 2nd May 2017.  Tenders must be submitted in hard copy, emailed tenders will not be accepted.

Late Proposals

Proposals that are received late will not be considered

Preparation of Tenders

REACT will not be liable for any costs incurred by suppliers in the preparation of tenders or any associated work effort.

Termination of Contract

REACT reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time following one month’s notice to do so.  However, any breaches of contract may result in immediate termination. The contract may be cancelled by the successful tenderer provided 1 months’ notice in writing has been given.

Conflicts of Interest

Any conflicts of interest involving a tenderer must be fully disclosed to REACT, particularly where there is a conflict of interest in relation to any recommendations or proposals put forward by the tenderer.

Insurance Requirements

Tenderers must produce all Insurance for Employers and Public Liability and Professional Indemnity and any other required insurances.  The successful tenderer will be required to produce valid certificates for the duration of the contract.

Commencement of Contract

The successful tenderer will be required to certify that they are in a position to commence the contract within four (4) weeks from date of award.
