Interim Chief Executive - Sport NI

Overview
The Board of Sport NI requires an Interim Chief Executive to deliver a programme of significant change, while leading and managing the organisation so that Business Plan objectives are met. Information about SportNI can be found at http://www.sportni.net/

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must have, by the closing date for applications:
At least 5 years’ experience, within the last 10 years, of working at senior management* level directing and providing effective leadership and strategic direction in an organisation comprising at least 100 staff and with an annual budget of at least £15m.

AND

At least 3 years’ experience, within the last 6 years, of providing strategic advice and guidance to a Board and its committees (or equivalent governance structures);

AND

At least 5 years experience, within the last 10 years, of governance and public accountability

The following additional clarification is provided:

*Senior management is defined as Senior Civil Service or equivalent.
