HOMELESS SUPPORT OFFICER(S)

Our Homeless Services Schemes are based in Moyard House, West Belfast, and Roseville House, South Belfast. As an HSO, you will work as a member of a small team and ensure that quality accommodation and support services are provided to all service users. You may be required to work shifts allocated on a rota system and experience in a similar type of environment would be an advantage. 

 The successful applicant is likely to have the following:

• A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent qualification including English & Maths
• A minimum 1 years experience working with vulnerable groups in similar environment
• An understanding of current homeless/housing and/or other social issues
• Ability to demonstrate working on your own initiative and as a member of a team
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Be IT literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
