In this role, you’ll Initiate and promote a programme of Hearing Aid User Support Sessions, and information outreach activities in order to reach and engage with people who are deaf and hard of hearing.

As Hearing Aid Liaison Officer you’ll be responsible for the recruitment, training and on-going support of volunteers to deliver our Hearing Aid User Support Service and outreach information activities throughout the South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust in conjunction with the Sensory Support Team, Audiology, Action on Hearing Loss N. Ireland’s Health and Social Care Manager and other Hearing Aid Liaison Officers.

In this role, you’ll Initiate and promote a programme of Hearing Aid User Support Sessions, and information outreach activities in order to reach and engage with people who are deaf and hard of hearing.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience of managing and/or working with volunteers along with excellent organisation and communication skills and a genuine interest in working with people who are deaf, hard of hearing or who have tinnitus.
