Head of Service
Living Options - Belfast & Regional Services

The delivery, control, development and quality assurance of Cedar Services Living Option services.

 

Hours:                          37 hours per week

Salary:                         £41,025.00-£44,757.00(46-50 points)

Contract:                      Permanent

Location:                      Belfast (inc regional services)

 

Essential:                    

  • Have a relevant third level qualification and4 years’ relevant management experience
    • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of and expertise in:
      • The needs of people with a disability, their families and carers
      • People Management & Development
      • Resource & Budget Management (of no less than £300K per annum)
      • Business planning, Leadership and Good Governance (with an understanding of outcome based accountability)
      • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
      • Organisation & planning
      • Managing your resilience
  • Be competent in use of Windows Applications/ Email/ Internet
  • Hold a full current driving license valid for use in UK and Ireland and have access to a car on appointment

 

This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable application who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post

 

Desirable:

  • Health and Social Care experience / qualification
  • Experience of working with people with complex challenging needs and promoting positive behavioural support
  • Knowledge of ASCOT and a ‘results outcome based’ approach
