The Grants & Donor Care Officer will support the Programmes, Grants & Donor Care team to make effective grants that support the objectives of the Foundation; & to help the team build strong relationships with donors/funders.

  • Maintain & develop database of donors, funders, grants, grantees & grant applications
  • Import application, review supporting documentation, allocating awards & issuing contracts using a CRM system
  • Maintain/develop a central record of all grant-making programmes including funding availability guidelines, closing dates & panel meeting dates
  • Prepare internal/external reports 
  • Organise meetings & issue grant panel papers, spreadsheets, minute taking
  • Carry out assessments of grant applications
  • Organise/deliver grant info events
  • Supporting the development & monitoring of the Foundation's impact report system particularly in relation to Vital Signs
  • Monitor impact of projects including meetings with grantees
  • Supporting preparation and analysis of impact reports
  • Assist with organisation of conferences, events & seminars
  • Being informed about the issues facing the Voluntary & Community sector
  • Participate in and contribute to the overal work of the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland as required
