Fundraising Manager

Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with all areas of the organisation, this important role carries accountability for researching, identifying and securing external funding to enhance and generate income.

The key duties of the post are:

  1. Generate increased income from existing and new sources to meet agreed targets.
  2. Identify and research potential funding opportunities and ensure the appropriate Corrymeela Staff are kept informed of developments and deadlines, and appropriate follow up takes place.
  3. Assist with the development and implementation of Corrymeela’s Fundraising Strategy.
  4. Ensure that accurate and appropriate budgets are included in applications as directed by Corrymeela’s Finance Director and prepare and present timely fundraising reports.
  5. Prepare internal and external quantitative and qualitative reports as required by the organisation or funders on a timely basis.
  6. Maintain and supervise computerised and hard copy records on all existing and potential funding sources and donors to meet legal requirements.
  7. Organise and service meetings, briefings and other contacts with voluntary helpers, groups and prospective supporters.
  8. Manage Gift Aid, covenant, legacy and other on-going fundraising campaigns, and undertake direct mail solicitation with supporters of Corrymeela.
