Youth Initiatives is inviting applications for the post of Fundraiser. We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to direct and implement YI’s fundraising strategy across 6 NI areas.
YI Fundraiser
Youth Initiatives NI is a cross-community youth work organisation that aims to awaken hope, inspire initiative and mobilise young people to make a vital contribution to their community and to reconciliation in Northern Ireland, through the discovery and renewal of Christian faith in daily life. Youth Initiatives specialises in outreach youth work and builds vibrant youth communities in areas of social need. The approach is long-term and relational to equip young people to overcome challenges, build resilience and to become leaders in their communities.
We are looking for a hard working and productive worker who wants to support and enable Youth Initiatives to achieve our youthwork mission aims of reaching some of Northern Ireland’s most at-risk young people. The YI Fundraiser post is an established role for which we are seeking a person who can build on past success in donor development, grant procurement and equipping youthworkers in local fundraising.
The post is 20 - 32 hours per week
Salary: £19,000 - £25,000 p.a. (pro rata) – depending on experience and success
