Foster Care Associates (FCA) are a not for profit independent fostering agency located in Belfast and are recruiting foster carers across all areas of Northern Ireland.

Can you offer a safe and secure home to children and young people who are unable to live with their families for various reasons?

Would you listen to a child with empathy and kindness and are willing to learn new skills relating to child-care in order to meet a child’s specific needs?

Salary – depending on placement

Work time – Full time

Contract – Registered Full time carer

Essential criteria:

• Patience in abundance.

• Have lots of energy

• Emotionally resilience

• Have stickability

• Be committed

• Have a sense of humour

• You must be over 21, but there is no upper age limit

• Have a spare room but you do not need to own your home

Points to consider:

• You do not need to be a parent already

• You do not need to be married or in a couple
