Finance and Administrative Officer (Need to Talk Project)

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role supporting the development of financial processes and systems for our Need To Talk project.

Need to Talk is a cross border counselling, confidence building and peer support programme for people with sight loss. Need to Talk is a partnership between RNIB and Fighting Blindness in the Border Counties of Ireland and is funded via the INTERREG VA Programme.

Using your experience in a range of financial responsibilities, such as transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing data and financial reports, you will ensure operational efficiency of the project. 

Adhering to Special EU Programmes Body requirements (SEUPB), you will be responsible for monitoring project expenditure on a cross border basis. Additionally, this will include general administrative and office management tasks on a cross border basis, including project admin support and overseeing admin volunteers.

If you have relevant experience of financial systems, a degree or equivalent AAT, ACA, ACCA/CIMA qualification and want to help make a difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people we would be delighted to hear from you.

Hours: 36 hours per week

Salary: £22,439 per annum
