The Institute for Conflict Research is seeking to appoint a part time Finance and Administration Officer for 16 hours per week.
The post-holder will be responsible for organising and providing a comprehensive, confidential administrative, clerical, financial and secretarial service to the CEO and staff team.

Essential Criteria:
The successful candidate must have a good level of education, with GCSE English and Maths being essential as well as an ECDL (or equivalent). They should have strong financial experience in supporting staff teams in a busy office environment, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, use their own initiative and work unsupervised as well as within a team.
They must have excellent communication skills and computer skills in the areas of file management, word processing, spreadsheets, database, computerised accounting systems (SAGE), cost projections, electronic mail and payroll systems.
Desirable Criteria: Experience of working on SEUPB administered Peace programmes will be an advantage as will a commitment to and experience of conflict transformation and/or the arts. A flexible approach to work and an ability to work to tight deadlines are also required. A satisfactory Access NI check is required for this post.
