Festival Co-ordinator - Job Description

POSITION TITLE AND GRADE:

Festival Co-ordinator (4 month fixed term contract)

LOCATION :

Home based

REPORTING TO:

Treasurer

FUNCTION / DEPARTMENT

Management

REMUNERATION

£4,000 -  £12.50 per hour (320 hours March – June 2017;

(March 40 hours,  April 120 hours, May 120 hours,  June 40 hours)

 

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • You will be required to attend all committee meetings and festival events
  • To adhere to, and model the festival values, behaviours and competencies at all times
  • To carry out additional duties of the role and all other required duties as and when necessary

 

 The above mentioned duties are not exhaustive and the post holder will be required to carry out other duties as and when necessary. It should be noted that stated duties or location associated with the post may change to meet the future needs of the organisation.

EDUCATION / TRAINING

QUALIFICATIONS

 

 

  • CIM / PR and / or Professional Qualification

EXPERIENCE

 

  • At least 1 year’s in an Event / Marketing / Arts Management role in the last 5 years
  • Project Management Experience within the last 2 years

 

  • Experience of process and system reviews and implementations
  • Successfully completing funding applications

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate thinking clearly to others
  • Project management knowledge and experience
