Opening Doors Supported Lodgings Service works in partnership with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Health and Social Care Trusts to support young people aged 16-21 year olds who are leaving care or finding themselves experiencing housing difficulties.  We recruit, assess, train and support host providers who open up their homes for young people in need. It is a vital part of our work to liaise with partners to ensure a suitable match with the host provider and young person. As a Family Support Practitioner, you will be working in our Omagh office. You will be a resourceful and motivated individual, a flexible, creative thinker who can work on his or her own initiative and as part of a team in a varied and challenging role.

What you'll need:

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

Flexible working arrangements including on call evening and weekend work, by prior arrangement.
GCSE English and Maths Grades A-C.

Use of own car for business miles.

The job requires the ability to travel according to the needs of the job, with reasonable adjustments, if required, according to the Equality Act.

Experience in Health and Social Care Setting.

Desirable Criteria

Experience of assessment work of either host providers or foster carers
