The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a UK charity that makes a difference to young people’s lives.  The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (the DofE) programme operates in over 140 countries around the world.  Over 275,000 young people a year from every possible background take part in the Award programme to broaden their horizons, develop their leadership skills, learn to work with others, volunteer in their local communities, increase their employability, and prove to themselves they can succeed at a serious challenge.  Sometimes we completely change the direction of their lives.

 

We are looking for a replacement Expedition Network Co-ordinator to join our team in Belfast.

 

We are looking for an Expedition Co-ordinator to provide information, support and quality assurance relating to the Expedition section of the programme within the 3 designated Expedition areas in Northern Ireland (Antrim Hills, Mournes and Sperrins).  You will ensure expedition conditions are met, Assessors allocated and expedition notification numbers are issued.  You will also communicate local Expedition Area information and updates to the DofE/JAI network.
