Engagement Officer

Established since 1992, Springboard develops and delivers programmes involving good relations, citizenship and personal development.  We are currently recruiting for an Engagement Officer (30 hours / week)

Salary £25951 pro rata

The Engagement Officer will be responsible for marketing our programmes and recuitment/selection of young people, promoting programme and providing mentoring support.

Key criteria for the post includes:

- degree holder in a relevant field and minimum 2 years full time experience of working with young people within 16-24 age range OR five years experience of working with young people within 16-24 age range

- three years experience of recruitment and engagement of young people from disadvantaged communities onto programmes

- experience of building relationships with young people in a variety of environments eg outreach, detached.

- experience of needs assessment and mentoring

The post will be based at our North Street offices in Belfast
