Employment Support Co-ordinator, (#WorkItOut Project) Fixed Term (3 years)

£24,880 per annum, 37.5 hours per week, flexibility required, Derry/Londonderry

First Housing Aid & Support Services supports indviduals and families who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless.

The aim of the #WorkItOut, funded for 3 years by the Big Lottery Fund under the Empowering Young People programme, is to give young people the ability to cope with challenges in their lives.

The #WorkItOut Co-ordinator will ensure the appropriate management structures and systems are in place to meet the needs of the project to deliver the service in line with the outcomes agreed for the project.

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant level 5 Qualification in Education or Training or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven track record of managing within a training/educational setting, including people management, working with hard to reach groups
  • A current driving licence with acces to a car.  (Can be waived in the case of applicant whose disability prohibts driving, bu who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements).
  • IT Skills

First Housing operates a child protection and vulnerable adults policy.  Access NI checks will be carried out before an appointment can be confirmed.
