Stepping Stones NI was established in 1996 to provide adults with learning difficulties / disabilities with the opportunity to access accredited training towards gaining employment.
Stepping Stones NI's mission is to support people with a learning disability or a learning difficulty to realise their potential for a better future. In order to help achieve their mission Stepping Stones NI is currently looking for suitable individuals to join their team as:
EMPLOYMENT OFFICER
Reporting to the Employment Service Coordinator, the successful candidates will be responsible for sourcing work placements and paid employment for clients of the Employment Service. Working with employment and training staff the Employment Officers will be responsible for sourcing work roles appropriate to the individual needs of clients with learning disabilities and learning difficulties, working 100% of their time on an ESF funded programme.
The successful candidates will have:
GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above (or equivalent)
Relevant experience in working and liaising with employers and clients in a job matching capacity
Be proficient in the use of MS Office (including Excel and Access)
Have a positive 'can do' attitude and a professional but approachable manner
A full Driving Licence
