The Irish Heart Foundation is seeking to recruit a target-driven Donor Development Manager with excellent project management skills and a strong track record in direct marketing.
Background Information:
The Irish Heart Foundation (IHF) is the national charity dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Today in Ireland more people die from heart and stroke-related illnesses than from cancer, road deaths and suicide combined. Against this background we work to bring hope, relief and a better future to families all over Ireland. We give vital patient support through our Heart & Stroke helpline and we provide high quality public information for all.
We support pioneering medical research, campaign for improved patient care, and promote positive public health strategies. We work in hospitals, schools and workplaces to support, educate and train people to save lives. As a charity we are dependent on the generosity of the public to continue our vital good work. We ask the public to support our work by making a donation, giving of their time to volunteer or by learning the skills needed to save a life through our courses.
The Irish Heart Foundation is largely funded by public and corporate donations. In order to continue and expand our work, we are looking to significantly increase our fundraising income.
The Role:
The Irish Heart Foundation is now seeking a Donor Development Manager for a maternity cover contract to implement its donor development programme using a broad range of fundraising channels and media including advertising, direct marketing, digital marketing and supporter care programmes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis and development of the Foundation’s Donor Journey and should have significant experience in analysis and segmentation of donor databases, in order to allow for specific targeting of donor groups. They will work closely with the Senior Manager for Supporter in this regard to ensure smooth and efficient database use.
The Donor Development Manager will have a strong track record in direct marketing and will have previous experience implementing campaigns to mass audiences.
