Domiciliary Care Workers

Casual Hours Available

£7.20 per hour (plus mileage)

Throughout the Causeway Coast & Glens District Council Area

Job Purpose

To provide personal and domestic care to people living in their own homes, who due to a temporary or longer term disability, may not be able to manage their own care.

Essential Criteria

• Good level of written and spoken English – Min Entry Level 2 ESOL (or equivalent)

• Experience of caring in a formal / informal settings (voluntary or paid capacity)

• An ability to demonstrate a sensitivity and understanding of the needs of vulnerable people

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Full driving licence

• Access to transport

• Flexible attitude and flexibility in working hours

Desirable Criteria

• GCSE (or equivalent) level of education

• Experience of report writing and maintenance of records
