Director of Operations – Homeless Support Services

Salary £42k per annum

Based at Townsend Street, Belfast BT13 2RS

The Welcome Organisation, a Belfast based charity, is known as a leader and innovator in the provision of support services to single adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. 

Building relationships is at the heart of what we do, so it’s no surprise we’re so passionate about our people.  We work with over 1,300 individuals each year, giving much more than support to put a roof over their heads.  Our aim is to address the root causes of homelessness and create sustainable solutions that ensure that the people we help will never find themselves in that situation again.

The Role:-

To assist The Welcome Organisation to achieve its vision and deliver its strategic objectives through:

• leading and managing a range of homelessness services operations of the Division

• the delivery of operational objectives contained in the strategic plan  

• ensuring that trustworthy processes are created to best enable service delivery is achieved to a high standard

• taking on limited executive responsibilities, working collaboratively with the Managing Director and with the management team to ensure service operations are planned and implemented and performance is monitored

• ensure integrity of compliance with funding and service agreements; legislative requirements, ethics and relevant quality standards
