Digital Skills Officer

Action on Hearing Loss is the new name for RNID.  We are working for a world where hearing loss doesn’t limit or label people, where tinnitus is silenced and where people value and look after their hearing.

Digital Skills Officer, 21 hours per week (fixed term until 31 December 2017)

 Location: Harvester House, 4-8 Adelaide Street, Belfast

£25,000 per annum pro rata Band 17 

 Online Today! is a UK wide Big Lottery funded project which aims to support people with sensory loss to develop basic online IT skills.  As Digital Skills officer you will deliver product and technology training, provide information, advice and support to deaf people and people with a hearing loss.

With knowledge of technology software and functionality for deaf people and people with a hearing loss you will be able to plan and organise a varied workload to key deadlines and be able to communicate clearly and fluently in both individual or group settings  to develop knowledge and working relationships.
