Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful seeks to employ a full time, temporary (4 weeks) Digital Marketing Officer. The successful candidate is likely to be a student of Marketing and a highly motivated enthusiastic individual with a passion for digital media.

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful seeks to appoint an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Officer to analyse the organisation’s current digital marketing output and, following investigation, write a digital marketing strategy.

 This person will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the formation of a digital marketing strategy for Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.

 

CONTRACT

 The contract to commence as soon as possible after a successful candidate has been selected. Salary will be paid monthly, in arrears.

 Duties

The following duties will be part of the post

  • Analysis of the current social media outputs at use in the organisation
  • Writing a digital marketing strategy
  • Pro-active communication with departments to identify potential content
  • Developing weekly engagement plans

 General Information

The person appointed will work from an office in Belfast but flexible working may be available. They will work closely with other Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful staff.

 ICT support is provided for all members of staff to enable them to be efficient and effective in their work.

 

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful operates a 37.5 hour week, office hours being broadly 9am to 5pm, with a flexible hour’s working policy in operation.

 

Person Specification – Skills and Experience

 Essential

  • Confident in the use of a range of social media platforms
  • Experience of social media metrics and analysis
  • Fluent in digital terminology
  • Currently studying for a degree in Marketing, PR or IT or have proven ability in these areas
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; both written and oral
  • Well-developed ICT skills, especially using the Microsoft Office Suite

 Desirable

  • Basic HMTL skills
  • Interest in e-mail marketing content creation
  • Knowledge of the voluntary sector
  • A basic understanding and interest in environmental/ sustainable development issues
