An exciting opportunity for a Dementia trainer has arisen for a new role within Alzheimer’s Society Training and Consultancy team.

This new role has two key elements which will contribute towards the goal of ensuring the Society operates a forward thinking and commercially successfully Training and Consultancy department.
You will deliver high quality dementia training to a range of clients in settings including private care homes, voluntary sector, corporate sector and local authorities. This will involve delivering short half day sessions through to the delivery of longer term staff development programmes.
Working under the guidance of the Senior National Programmes Officer you will also design courses which meet the needs of paying customers across all sectors and regions. This will involve designing courses which develop the skills of staff in organisations to deliver person centred care and also result in improved outcomes for people with dementia
The successful post holder will also actively seek to manage and develop on-going business relationships with clients who purchase training. This will involve generating; closing and reporting on sales opportunities throughout the UK but primarily involve delivering training across different regions and sectors in Northern Ireland.
