Alzheimer’s Society is the leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. Dementia affects over 800,000 people in the UK alone and numbers continue to grow.
We are looking for applicants who can provide information, support and sign posting of services to people with dementia and their carers through support/information visits, support groups and information programmes.
The individual will have an understanding of dementia, good organisation and time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. A satisfactory disclosure from Access NI is required for this post. This post is based in Armagh and Dungannon.
You will possess NVQ level 3 (or equivalent). It is desirable that you have experience of working with statutory and voluntary agencies.
