Peartree Barn Nursery Ltd are seeking applicants for the post of ‘Manager’ as part of our vibrant and dynamic team which is a registered childcare provider located on the outskirts of Lisburn. Situated in a rural context, circa 1.5 miles from Junction 6 of the M1, the accessibility of the nursery combined with its context offer the  perfect combination for those seeking to apply their skills in a stimulating environment.

The successful adoption of that mission statement has been demonstrated by our progressive growth since opening in January 2014 and relies on our team that strive to provide standards of Excellence in Childcare. We are seeking for a suitably gifted manager that is equipped and motivated to stimulate the growth of Peartree Barn Nursery as it moves into its next phase of development. Peartree Barn Nursery is currently registered for 79 children and has been granted planning approval to expand further which will necessitate further capital build on land adjacent to the existing facility. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the current company profile whilst engendering growth over the coming years. Any applicants must demonstrate their skills to manage and stimulate a team represented by a wide demographic.

Skills/Experience: You ideally need 2 years post qualified experience of which 2 have involved managing or deputizing in a day nursery. A Level 5 NVQ/Diploma in Childcare (or equivalent). Opportunities to gain qualifications, further growth & development, will be available for candidates who match our ambitions.
