DAISY East Service Delivery Administrator

Start360 are currently seeking a Service Delivery Administrator for the DAISY East project on a part-time, permanent basis.

Information on the experience and qualifications required for the post are outlined in the application pack. Interviews with successfully shortlisted candidates are scheduled to take place on Thursday 15 June.


Salary: NJC Points 12 - 17 (£16,123 – £17,772, pro-rata)

Base: Belfast.

Probation: You will serve a probationary period of six months.  This may be extended if considered appropriate

Hours: Part-time (28 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

 

Background to the Project:

DAISY is a partnership between Start360 and ASCERT, and is funded by the Public Health Agency.  

The service provides person-centred programmes for young people and young adults up to age 25 years old, to help them reduce the harm caused by their substance misuse.           

DAISY provides young people and their families with an individually tailored package of support that can include:

  • Therapeutic Mentoring;
  • Family support and systemic family work;
  • Counselling; and
  • Groupwork.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out administrative tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the DAISY East service, to a high standard and within reasonable time limits;
  • Assist the Service Delivery Manager in producing reports both internally and externally, to a high standard and within reasonable time limits;
  • Manage referrals to DAISY East, from point of enquiry to allocation;
  • Take the lead on development of the Client Information System within the DAISY East service and assist all staff in resolving any difficulties with these systems;
  • Provide induction on administration for new hires within the DAISY East service, and the use of the Client Information System in particular;
  • Support the Service Delivery Manager in allocating referrals across the team;
  • Coordinate all DAISY East statistics, and liaise directly with staff on behalf of the Service Delivery Manager as required;
  • Assist the Service Delivery Manager in scheduling and servicing team meetings, training events, networking activities and any other DAISY East activity;
  • Produce monthly reports to the Service Delivery Manager on all referral activity;
  • Attend and minute relevant multi-disciplinary meetings;
  • Develop and maintain office filing systems in consultation with the Service Delivery Manager;
  • Order, store and distribute materials as required;
  • Manage the DAISY East information email address and dedicated telephone line;
  • Share in reception, answering calls and office lock-up along with other staff, where required;
  • Respond to enquiries, take and record referrals and book appointments where appropriate;
  • Support partnership working, by keeping referral agencies and other bodies up to date with Start360 and DAISY developments;
  • Liaise with staff in other Start360 services and locations as necessary; and
  • Carry out other responsibilities that may be required, as commensurate with the post.
