Community Navigator

The role of the Locality Community Navigator will focus on the promotion and development of preventative and reablement services for older people within the Community/Voluntary sector that focuses on health and wellbeing and the reduction of social isolation.  

The successful candidate must meet the following essential criteria:

• A recognised 3rd level qualification in health promotion, allied health profession, community development work, with 1 year’s experience of working in the field of health and / or community development supporting older people.

OR

• 3 years full time experience of working in the field of health and / or community development.

AND

• Some relevant experience gained within the Community / Voluntary sector.
• Proven experience of working within a client centred context.
• Full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes or access to a form of transport that will meet the travel requirements of the post
