Pancreatic Cancer UK
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of any cancer. Pancreatic Cancer UK is a national charity determined to make a difference by providing support and information to everyone affected by the disease
Main responsibilities
- To work with the Pancreatic Cancer Nurse Specialist to establish and develop effective working relationships with supporters, partners, key stakeholders and local organisations with an interest in pancreatic cancer.
- To develop networks and local activities that support and promote the work of Pancreatic Cancer UK within the specified region
- To encourage supporter involvement within the area including the development of support groups and promote opportunities for people affected by pancreatic cancer to get actively involved with the charity.
- To act as the local point of contact for Pancreatic Cancer UK within the specified area along with the regional nurse.
- To personally represent Pancreatic Cancer UK at events and cheque presentations within the specified area. These may be outside office hours and at weekends
