We are currently recruiting a highly motivated Commercial Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Senior Management Team you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to provide excellent customer service to all clients. You will strive to ensure consistent growth in profitability across our existing portfolio of revenue streams and identify and drive forward opportunities within our new emerging businesses.

 

You will take ownership of the entire sales process and be responsible for driving the continued growth of the employee benefits business throughout the UK, and for achieving revenue targets through the acquisition and direct management of key accounts. You will manage and motivate the tele-marketing sales team and track individual and team performance. You will work closely with marketing colleagues to create and execute innovative sales campaigns and secure new business through warm lead generation in line with business goals.

The Person:

The ideal candidate must meet all of the essential criteria as listed on the personnel specification including:

 

  • Third level qualification in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2B Sales in the last 5 years

or where the applicant does not possess the relevant qualification; a minimum of 4 years’ experience in B2B Sales within the last 8 years will be accepted.

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the last 6 years of managing the performance of a sales team.

 

  • Proven track record of:

       - key account management including key account acquisition.

       - managing direct sales achievement within a telemarketing environment.

       - generating income streams through product/service promotion and delivery,

         as well obtaining key contracts.

       - consistently exceeding sales targets to tight deadlines.

 

  • Ability to work flexible, unsocial hours and to travel throughout Northern Ireland, UK and elsewhere at times demanded by the job.

 

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
